Satyanarayan Puja Video Invitation

Satyanarayana vrat or Satyanarayana pooja is the religious worship of Lord Vishnu. This pooja is observed as the Hindu religious custom and this pooja ritual is mentioned in "Skandapurana" Usually this puja is performed by couples on occasions like housewarming, wedding, etc. satyadeva pooja can be premiered regardless of any occasion on any day at our homes. In many temples, this pooja is performed on a full moon day of every month in South India. Satyanarayana puja is performed for the divine blessings of Lord Vishnu for good health, wealth, success in business, relief from sickness and troubles, etc. The puja starts decoration for Altar with mango leaves and flowers. The base of the Altar(pooja Mantap) is cleaned and decorated with Floral designs with colored powders, rice flour, turmeric, and kumkum. This Altar(pooja Mantap) is kept towards east - west and the couple performing pooja will be facing towards east. Puja is performed in the presence of a religious priest. A Satyanarayana Swami photo frame is kept in Altar(pooja Mantap) and "Khalasham"- a brass/silver pot filled with water and a raw coconut is kept on the "Khalasam", wrapped with a red-colored cloth and kumkum and turmeric is applied to it. This pooja starts with " Vigneshwara pooja" and followed by five(5) small stories. Each story indicates the puja vidhanam importance of pooja. After the pooja Prasadam is offered to god which is prepared with semolina, sugar, ghee and dry fruits.
